Firstly, a belated happy new year to all of my lovely readers – all of your comments and support make it all worthwhile! It wouldn’t be Janary without making a few resolutions for the next twelve months, would it, so I thought I would share my blog/reading/a few general goals with all of you.
This year I am taking part in the Goodreads Reading Challenge and plan to read 200 books. This may sound a lot but I’m going to allow for 75 of this to be for university/general rather than solely for the blog and they will be in a list in my goodreads account saying non-blog. I have already read 3 YA books towards this goal, two books I started in 2012 and one I completed from 2011 so think I should be on track to meet this goal. What are your reading goals?
In addition to this I want to work on continuing to attract new readers and followers to ChooseYA and raise it’s profile within the YA blogging community. I am also planning my first giveaway, details to come soon when I reach 50 subscribed followers on this site alone. As I already have more than 60 followers when I include twitter, facebook and goodreads this should be held very soon and I will be posting in the next week with further details about the prize(s) up for grabs.
On a personal level, I wish to complete and obviously pass my Masters in Writing this year and get onto another course or extend my course to an MFA which my tutors are starting next year. I am so not bored of university yet. I also want to work more on myself and continue to go to the gym, stick with my personal training as far as my budget allows, and generally be awesome :p
